"Working alongside the Soroptimist ladies has been such a gift — not just to me personally, but to our Dream Girls as well. Their kindness, strength and unwavering commitment to the program have been inspiring."

Six years of showing up — helping elementary-school girls discover their confidence, their leadership and their dreams.

Our members mentor girls at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School through the Dream Girls program. Through monthly sessions, students explore the skills and ideas that help them dream big — and believe those dreams are within reach.
From pilots to nurses, our members and guest mentors sit down one-on-one with the girls — sharing their careers and helping each girl picture her own.

Each season builds on the last — from first hellos to a career day finale.
We build trust and friendship — icebreakers, introductions and the first conversations about who the girls are — then put those dreams into pictures with dream boards.
Girls talk through the challenges in their way and learn to turn big dreams into goals they can actually reach, step by step.
Through hands-on activities, the girls practice managing stress, speaking up, working as a team and leading with confidence.
The girls put it all together — dressing for success, practicing real interviews and celebrating how far they've come.

Each year wraps up with our celebrated Career Day — the girls meet real women from all kinds of professions, from pilots to entrepreneurs, and practice mock interviews and dressing for success.
It's the moment it all clicks: these girls can be anything they dream.
